Last weekend my family I spent an amazing long weekend up in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. We jam packed so much into the weekend, that when we saw a little ice cream shop on Saturday night, we decided to stop in for a treat. Part of the reason we stopped was because they had advertised that they had coconut soft-served, so how could we not stop in to try that? Seriously? The one bite I tried before I traded flavors with my four year old, who didn’t like what he picked out, was to die for. TO. DIE. FOR.
I think he was just over-tired, but all of the sudden my four year old ditched his spoon and started eating my his ice cream right out of the bowl.
And once my seven year old saw what his little brother was doing…..well, you can guess what happened:
Aren’t they adorable? And before you ask, I ate my entire dish the old fashioned way. With a spoon.
